What should I wear?

Great question! We recommend Cocktail Attire since this event is outside in the beautiful garden of Tyrone Farm. Cocktail hour is hosted beneath a large permanent tent, and dinner is served in the fancy barn! Men should wear pants to follow the venue’s requirements.

Will there be food at cocktail hour?

Most definitely! There will be a large Charcuterie spread for all of you meat and cheese lovers out there. We’ll be having a bar serving beer, wine, and Non Alcoholic beverages like water, sparkling water, soda, NA beer, and much more.

What’s for dinner?

This one is exciting. It’s round, cheesy, and a crowd pleaser. I’m sliced up about it.

Where should I stay & How should I get around?

Check out our Travel & Stay page. We recommend hotels, but if you’re adventurous, then an Airbnb may get you closest to the event. We recommend flying into Providence or Boston and renting a car from there. Ubers will be easy to get from Providence or Sturbridge out to Pomfret, but it will be nearly impossible to get an Uber back to town from Pomfret (since it is quite remote ~40 minutes from larger cities). Rental cars are recommended.

What’s the rough schedule?

Aim to arrive before the ceremony starts at 4:30pm to grab your seats. Cocktail hour starts at 5pm. Dinner will be rolling out around 6pm in the Barn. Dancing & Lawn games from 7:30pm until 10pm!
